On behalf of the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency, Yusuf M. Tuggar (OON) the Director (OHMFA), Ambassador Samson Itegboje received the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, His Excellency Geoffrey van Leeuwen and the Dutch Minister for Migration, His Excellency Eric van der Burg today, 5th February, 2024.
The visiting Ministers were at the Ministry to sign the MoU between the Government of Nigeria and the Government of the Netherlands on the Establishment of Bilateral Consultations. The signed MoU focuses on cooperation in the areas of Economy, Security, Consular and Migration matters.
Present at the meeting were Director (Regions), Ambassador Janet Olisa (OON); the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Nigeria, Ambassador Wouter Plomp; Director (Consular & Migration Division), Ambassador Manu Mohammed; Director (European Affairs), Ambassador Alex Enan Kefas; and CDA a.i. Embassy of Nigeria, The Hague, Netherlands, Ambassador Oluremi Oliyide among other officials.
